We've showed you how to set up an email account in your Outlook 2010. Now we'll show you how to:
- change your email account's user name and password,
- leave a copy of messages on server, and
- change email signatures.
In addition, you can find answers to the most frequently asked questions in the FAQ section at the bottom.
Changing your email account's user name and password

2. Select the email account where you want to change the user name and password, and then click the Change button.
3. Change the user name and password in the Logon Information section, and then click Test Accounts Settings.
Note: The new password you entered in your Outlook 2010 should comply with the email password you've set up in your Toolkit. To find your email account's password, log in to your Toolkit, and then click Email setup on the My Service menu. You'll find the password by clicking your email address on the Active email address list.
If the new user name and password are correct, the tests will complete successfully. Close the testing window, and then click Next and Finish to complete the account settings.
Leaving a copy of messages on server
This setting is only available when you set up your email account as a POP3 account.
1. Follow step 1 and 2 in the Changing your email account's user name and password section above to open the Internet E-mail Settings window, and then click More Settings.
2. Click the Advanced tab, and then select the Leave a copy of messages on the server option.
Child option 1: Remove from server after X days
If you select this option and specify a number of days, your emails will be kept on the Ilisys mail server for the specified days, and then get deleted.
Child option 2: Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'
If you select this option, your emails will be kept on server indefinitely until you delete the emails in your Outlook 2010 and purge them from the Deleted Items box. Note that if you don't purge your emails from the Deleted Items box, the emails will still be kept on the server.
If you don't select either of the child options, all your emails will be kept in you mailbox on the mail server indefinitely. When your mailbox exceeds your storage limit, it'll incur extra charges. See the FAQ below for how to clear emails from the mail server.
When you're finished, click OK to save the settings. The new settings will take effect instantly.
