Sending and receiving emails using your Webmail
Once you've created your email account in your Toolkit, you can choose to set up your email account in your email software to send and receive emails. Alternatively, you can use your Webmail to send and receive emails straight away. Another good thing about the Webmail is that you can access your mailbox from anywhere in the world via a web browser.
In the following sections, we'll show you how to:
- Log in to your Webmail
- Set up your personal information
- Compose an email message
- Archive emails in subfolders
Logging in to your Webmail
To log in to your Webmail, you need to have your email account password ready. If you've forgotten your password, you can find it on the Email setup page in your Toolkit. When you have your password handy, follow the instructions below:
Open rwdigital.com.au in your browser, enter your webmail username (your full email address) and your password, and then click LOGIN
For beginners, a welcome screen will come up asking for your Full Name and Email Address. Once you've submitted your full name and email address, this screen will not come up again.
Setting up your personal information
If you want to personalise your email account, such as adding a signature or a reply-to email address, follow the steps below.
1. Click the Options link at the top, and then click the Personal Information link.
2. On the Personal Information page, enter your signature and reply-to email address, and then click Submit.
Note: If you want to display your signature in your emails, you must select Yes next to Use Signature in the Signature Options section.
Composing an email message
After setting up your personal information, you can start to send emails in your Webmail. Simply click the Compose link a the top to bring up the compose window.
Note: If you want to add an attachment to this email, make sure it's smaller than 5 MB.
Archiving emails in subfolders
If you only use your Webmail to receive emails or you use IMAP in your email software, your emails will be stored in your Webmail. To better organise your emails, you can create subfolders to store the classified emails.
Click the Folders link at the top, enter the folder name and choose it's parent folder from the drop-down list, and then click Create.
Note: The new subfolder won't appear on the left panel instantly after being created. To see the new subfolder, click "Check mail" link in the top-left corner.
